With the first half of 2019 behind us, I’m pleased to report that our commitment to continuous improvement is driving positive results throughout our business. We’re eager to see the impacts these initiatives have in improving your day-to-day interactions with American Building Components. To support this, we’re focusing on product quality, innovation and exceptional customer service programs. See below for highlights of what we’ve been working on.

This quarter, we’ve completed an upgrade to our order processing system to:

  • Simplify our business processes
  • Improve our speed and accuracy
  • Better align your pricing with the market
  • Enhance communication
  • Enable us to widen our product offering over time

Now that the upgrade is complete, we will continue refining and optimizing our processes to help ensure we improve our response times and deliver your ABC products on-time and in full.

We continue to rely on the feedback you provide through our Voice of the Customer (VOC) survey program to ensure we understand and address those issues most important to you. Your candid responses enable us to evaluate opportunities to improve our products, services and processes so we can consistently deliver the exceptional service you deserve. Last quarter, I mentioned the launch of some time-saving enhancements now available in our online ordering tool, but we’re not done making improvements! We’ve developed and are piloting two new features expected to:

  • Provide your customers with the ability to order products from you using our online tool
  • Enable easier ordering of custom products specific to your business
