Since 1908, ABC has been committed to delivering quality and service our customers can count on. We work together every day with our customers, employees and industry partners to supply products for buildings where our communities live, work and play. And over time, it’s about more than the manufacturing of metal components, and about a bond that unites us—the excitement of a large order, the struggle of weather delays, and the uncertainty of the construction market. Many of our employees have watched our customers’ children grow up and we beam with pride as they take over the family business, reminded that what we have built is longer-lasting than any tangible product.
It’s a great achievement to successfully lead an organization aligned with our values of customer focus, trust and transparency, expertise and high performance. Thus, it is with the utmost respect and deepest appreciation that I must announce the bittersweet separation of Joel Viechnicki from the company.
Joel began his career with American Building Components (ABC) as a Regional Manager in 1993 and has held various sales leadership roles over the last 27 years at Cornerstone Buildings Brands. Joel’s commitment to his team and customers has aided in the growth of the business, and his leadership is recognized across the industry.
Kelly Huntsman, Director of Sales, will assume the day-to-day sales responsibilities for leading ABC. Kelly has been with the company for 26 years in various roles across manufacturing and sales, most recently as Key Account Manager. He served on the Utah Roofing Contractors Association for 10 years and currently sits on the board of the National Frame Building Association. He holds a bachelor’s in business management from Western Governors University.
Even under new sales leadership, our before-mentioned values will not waver. Our customers can expect the same quality and reliable service as before, the best-possible solutions and high-quality products. Through our over 110 years of experience, we understand our customers’ needs and continue to proactively seek out ways to improve your experience.
