I am very excited to announce that this summer, we will be launching a new online ordering tool that will simplify the way you order metal roof and wall panels, trim and accessories from ABC. This website will allow you to quote the cost of materials quickly and accurately, order exactly what you need online anytime and get on with building your business or project. Accessible using any device and built to save you time, we hope you find that this tool makes it easier for you to work with us so that you can focus on what’s most important to you—your business. At ABC, we don’t believe our customers should have to sacrifice quality for price. And while new tools that simplify our processes is certainly a significant step in that direction, we are also continuing to look for efficiencies within our existing business operations and have thus recently announced some changes that make us a more streamlined, resourceful organization. Our Nicholasville, KY plant and sales office have recently moved 35 miles northeast to our nearby Frankfort, KY location, where we have also consolidated our former East Coast inside sales functions. To ensure minimal impact on our customers and their day-to-day business with us, this change did not affect the Rome, NY manufacturing operations, lead times or delivery schedules for those in the area. Additionally, ABC has closed our plant in Omaha, NE as the neighboring Mt Pleasant, IA plant and additional capacity available from our Lubbock, TX and Oklahoma City facilities provide the same products and services to those customers previously supplied out of Omaha. Proactively evaluating our business and taking responsible and ethical actions such as those listed above allows us to remain agile in volatile markets and ensure that we can continue to offer quality products and superior service at competitive prices. Additionally, to further enhance the quality of the products and services we deliver to you, we have added two colors—Burgundy and Buckskin—to our Select40 paint system offering. The addition of these two colors to our Select40 system will allow you to achieve a look previously only available with our Premium system at a more economical price. I mentioned in my last update that we are continually looking for ways to support the growth of the industry by being an active participant in events and activities that drive the business forward. Last quarter, those activities included our participation in the National Frame Building Association (NFBA) conference and tradeshow where we were able to connect with our customers as an exhibitor. In addition, we sponsored the NFBA Crew Foreman of the Year Award and were also honored to be a part of two projects that received ‘NFBA Building of the Year’ designation. We’re now half-way through our 2017 financial year and very much looking forward to seeing what the second half of the year holds.
