With ABC’s 2018 fiscal year officially beginning November 1st,
I’d like to take this opportunity to review the challenges and opportunities we
have embraced over the course of FY17 and share our goals for the coming year.
From introducing new services that help make your projects and businesses
easier on a day-to-day basis, to making organizational changes that enhance and
streamline the way we do business, ABC has remained committed to delivering
greater value to our customers whenever and wherever we can.
We are proud of the progress we’ve made in FY17, including adding two colors to
our Select40 paint system offering and having our Retro-R®
panel approved by the state of Florida for roof applications in the
storm-prone area. Additionally, we are delighted that our customers’ projects
have been recognized for excellence in the industry and that our teams have
been honored for the hard work and service to our country (See announcements on

By far, the largest project we’ve taken on in FY2017 is to
enable the ordering of our products online via shop.abcmetalroofing.com.
Launched this summer, many of you have taken advantage of this new tool, which
was designed to simplify the material ordering process. At the click of a
button, users can find information and accurate pricing on ABC products and
place orders via desktop computer, tablet and mobile devices 24 hours a day,
seven days a week. The ability to review quotes and the status of orders, as
well as the convenient shipping methods and payment options available through
the tool ensure a seamless and efficient purchasing experience for our

While we are always looking for ways to strengthen our team and
improve the products and services we deliver to you, fluctuating conditions have
continued to increase the cost of raw materials and constrain supply throughout
the metal market. To help shield you from the negative effects of these events,
ABC has continued in our efforts to inform you of any impending market
turbulence that could impact our business and have follow-on effects for yours.
We have also continued our steadfast practices in effective supply-chain
management and commercial discipline to ensure we remain competitively priced. This
has allowed us the flexibility to add to our production and delivery schedules to
aid recovery efforts following hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
As always, we continue to focus on manufacturing superior steel
products and delivering exceptional customer experiences by implementing
strategies that drive value. Our continued commitment to these core values drives
our business at every level and we are excited to continue delivering on them
